Payload Locking Mechanism

Payload Locking Mechanism

For the payload, we needed a locking mechanism, which is what we use to secure the payload in the UAV. The mechanism will be attached to the UAV using bolts, to give us the chance of disassembly if needed. The mechanism consists of two boards, each one has two slots for the payload to slide through. Each one of the two boards has a slot for strapping the payload in place after installing it in the UAV.
One of the main advantages of having two boards instead of one part is that it can be used for more than one size; depending on the size of the payload box, the boards' positions can be changed and bolted again.
